11:08-11:34 1st hour for 6th/8th grades 7th grade lunch (4 minute passing time)

11:38-12:02 1st hour 7th/ 2nd hour 8th grade 6th grade lunch (6 minute passing time)

12:08-12:32 2nd hour for 6th/7th grades 8th grade lunch (4 minute passing time)

12:36-1:04 3rd Hour

1:08-1:36 4th Hour
1:40-2:08 5th Hour

2:12-2:40 6th Hour



  • No attendance in 5th/6th hour exams recorded in PowerSchool
  • Send a student down with attendance at the beginning of 5th hour exam
  • Students will report to 1st semester classes in 8th grade
  • No grades can be recorded in PowerSchool for the 3rd marking period on Monday
  • The official start of the 3rd marking period is Tuesday, January 29th
  • No staff meeting-  We will reschedule the nurse to another date.






December/January Birthdays-
On Monday we will celebrate December/January birthdays at lunch in the lounge.

It has to be the SS department!  Great job working with our kids!

Great job to our laughter group!  Wonderful surprises this week! Good clean jokes that we can share with the students!

Weekly Top for 1-18-19

Folks,

Exams and Grades Due-
Please refer to the exam schedule that includes the announcement and break schedule between exams.  Tuesday is a review day and I will be in several classes that day.  Grades will be due on Wednesday, January 30th at 4:00 PM.

Brett Walsworth-
I know Dana so appreciates the support this staff has given to Brett and her family.  Brett will have his surgery to remove his entire  thyroid next Thursday.  It looks like radiation is to follow.  Keep Brett, Dana, Adam, and Eric in your thoughts and prayers.

JV Returning-
Joan will return next week from her knee replacement surgery.  We thank Tracy Bloodworth for filling in for her.  Joan recovered remarkably well!  We welcome her back! 

New Board Officers-
The new board of education officers have were set Monday evening at the Board of Education meeting, and they are:

January 28th Meeting-
We will be having nurse, Sandy Hayes, in to discuss several health items including: diabetes & seizures.

Weekly Top for 1-11-19

Folks,


Congratulations to Melissa-
Congratulations to Melissa L. as she was married over Christmas break!  We wish her the best!



No meeting on Monday-
No meeting this Monday, January 14th.  We will resume again on January 28th with Nurse Sandy Hayes and some education on various student diseases (diabetes, seizures, etc.)  




BLT this Tuesday-
We will have our building leadership team on Tuesday from 2:55-3:30.



Marigold of the Week-
We recently have a 7th grader who was diagnosed with diabetes just before the break, and Cathy G. has really taken this young lady under her care and made her feel more comfortable this week.  




The Ultimate Gift-
This month we should be reading and finishing Chapter 9 on The Gift of Laughter.  I can't wait to see how this month's group bring this chapter to us!



End of the Second Marking Period-
We end the second marking period next Friday, January 18th.  Review day will be Tuesday, January 22nd and exams will begin on Wednesday, January 23rd.
