Weekly Top for 5-18-18

Folks,

Thanks for your patience-
I have tried like crazy to keep up with the log entries.  With 5th graders visiting yesterday it is possible that I did not get to a log entry, but I will try like crazy to catch them today.  Thanks for your understanding!

Mandatory Technology Meeting Monday-
This Monday we will go over the new gmail email system that will be coming to us very soon.  If you are a support staff the meeting is recommended, but not mandatory.

Heart & Sole/Girls on The Run-
It was a wonderful evening at the Berrien County Fair Grounds last night as our Heart & Sole girls did a great job in their race.  I have to say that it was really awesome to see their joy and effort.

5th grade orientation-
Thanks so much for your flexibility yesterday!  The visit was a success!  It was great to see that many of their anxiety levels went down as the day went on.  The 5th grade teachers shared that they really thought things went well.

Winding up NWEA and M-Step -
We are getting close to winding up M-Step.  We are at make-ups now.  Today is the deadline for NWEA, so any student we have not tested has to be today. (We are down to 1-2 I believe.)  Sara, Torrey, Amy, Kara, Kristin, Deb, and Keiko have been really helpful in this process.  Light is at the end of the testing tunell!

Early Heads Up-
Monday, June 4th we will honor Emie Gallagher and Barb Stepka at our last staff meeting of the year.

Thanks to the SS Dept.-
Thanks so much to the UMS SS department for organizing and chaperoning the 7th grade trip to the Field Museum!  I am sure the students got a lot out of the day!
